Deepgreen Lane

Pre-Production

The premise of this film is based on the Myers family in 1957 in Deepgreen PA, the Myers family was the first black family moving into in this specific neighborhood after they relocated from Bloomsdale, PA no less than 2 miles from the perceived (lily white suburb) in Deepgreen, PA and the months of unexpected racial harassment the family endured from the neighbors literally minutes after the moving truck departed from their new ranch style home in Deepgreen.

Housing discrimination and harassment in rare form, that sadly is an ongoing trend in a lot of major cities still in America today. Daisy and Bill Myers have since passed away, however their children wanted their family’s story to be told the way their parents lived it, through her words and multiple historic archives of their experience.

Real Talk with Entrepreneurs

Pre-Production

Real Talk with Entrepreneurs, is the “spin-off” of Producer Alethia Brown’s popular podcast “Conversations with Entrepreneurs”.

RTWE – takes an in-depth, up close and personal look at the lives of these entrepreneurs, as we see and experience their entrepreneurial journey in the mist of the worse pandemic in 102 years.

We will learn how they were able to sustain their new business as so many other more established businesses were forced to close their doors permanently.

We have coordinated 7 entrepreneurs, in the Charlotte, NC and Columbia, SC area. The order of filming does not dictate the order the episodes will premiere.
